Portraits

1. Are they all portraits? Why or why not?
I think that they are all portraits, because their subject, are people, or a single person.

2. Choose one portrait. What do you like about it?
The portrait that I liked the most, is the one of your wife, because she is like the subject, but there are also some other things going on around her, so it makes it an interesting picture, because it is not confusing.

3. What don't you like about it?
I really don't have a dislike about the picture, because it has a nice contrast and you can see the main subject without having to look too much to find it, because the picture is not "overcharged", this means that it doesnt have so many thing on it, that make it confussing. But maybe one of the things I dont like about the picture, is that it is in black and white, but it is a really nice picture, so there is nothing that I could dislike.

4. Explain why the photo you chose is a portrait.
I think that the photo I chose is a portrait, because it has people, in this case only one person, so it makes it a portrait, and it is the main subject, and the only living creature of the picture, and that makes it be- I think- a portrait.

MYP Design Cycle, Investigate

In the Design Cycle, Investigate is the first part. When you investigate, you need to research about the problem and start thinking for solutions to it. Also you need to identify the problem, and think of a design that can solve the problem. In this step you need to research because you learn about whatever you are dealing with, and can give specifications to the following design.
Normally when we investigate, we are searching for things that we don't know, and then we can gather all the ideas for our project.
